2012-2013 Blue Devil Wrestling Club

NYC Youth Wrestling League

For the Winter of 2012-2013 the Blue Devil Wrestling Club (B.D.W.C) plans to sponsor a wrestling team(s)that will compete in the NYC Youth Wrestling League. This opportunity will be available to youths 7 to 14 years old. Wrestlers will compete against other kids their own age, weight and skill level. Kids will learn how to execute basic offensive and defensive wrestling maneuvers. In addition, wrestlers will learn about competition, sportsmanship and camaraderie, while developing confidence and having fun in a safe and healthy environment.

Teams will be coached by adults certified by USA Wrestling. And the overall operations will be commissioned by Poly Prep coaches and wrestlers and Friends Blue Devil Wrestling Club.

ELIGIBILITY: Any wrestler who is in second grade is eligible. A wrestler who is 14 years old on Jan. 1 is eligible if the wrestler is in 8^th grade (or lower).
