The doors to Northfield Bank’s latest branch named Boro Park opened on Tuesday May 22 with a celebration that included family entertainment, refreshments, free giveaways and special product offers.
This year, Northfield Bank celebrated its 125th anniversary by opening 25 full service offices in Staten Island, Brooklyn and New Jersey.
Director of Business Development for Northfield Bank, Robin Lefkowitz, said that “As a bank that has been in business for 125 years, we understand the value of building relationships and trust among our customers and look forward to serving Boro Park.”
The grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a donation of $14,000 to local charities such as the Yadeinu School and Yeshiva and Mesivta Wiznitz of USA.
The Boro Park location is Northfield’s fifth in Brooklyn.
The newly opened bank is located at 4602 13th Avenue and will allow customers to make deposits on intelligent ATMs without the need for an envelope. The facility also has a customer waiting lounge.
Northfield Bank plans to open three additional locations by the end of 2012.
